These Website Terms provide a summary of the key terms governing use of the Rodocodo platform. The full Enterprise Terms & Conditions and, where applicable, the Data Processing Addendum (DPA), form the legally binding agreement.
By creating an account or purchasing a subscription, you agree to:
- The Enterprise Terms & Conditions;
- The Privacy Policy; and
- If you are a School or Business User, the Data Processing Addendum (DPA).
1. Who Can Use Rodocodo
- Parents or guardians aged 18+ (Consumer Users)
- Teachers and authorised representatives of schools or organisations (School & Business Users)
- Children may not create accounts directly
2. The Service
Rodocodo is a learn-to-code platform designed for children aged 4–11, focused on computational thinking and problem-solving.
We provide the Service with reasonable care and skill. However, we do not guarantee:
- Uninterrupted or error-free access;
- Specific educational outcomes;
- Compatibility with all devices or systems.
Nothing in these Terms affects statutory rights of consumers.
3. Accounts
- Each authorised user must have their own account.
- Login credentials must not be shared.
- Schools and organisations are responsible for managing authorised users.
- Schools must notify us if an authorised teacher or administrator leaves or no longer requires access.
4. Subscriptions & Renewal
- Subscriptions are billed annually.
- Subscriptions renew automatically every 12 months.
- A reminder email is sent approximately 7 days before renewal.
- To cancel renewal, email: [email protected] before the renewal billing date.
- Free trials do not automatically convert into paid subscriptions.
No refunds are provided once a paid subscription period begins, subject always to statutory rights of Consumer Users.
5. Consumer Cancellation Rights (UK)
If you are a Consumer User purchasing online, you may have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
By requesting immediate access to the Service at purchase, you acknowledge that you may lose your right to cancel once the Service has been fully performed within that period.
This does not affect mandatory statutory rights.
6. Safeguarding
Rodocodo is committed to child safeguarding:
- No public messaging features
- No public profiles
- Pseudonyms permitted
- Adult-managed accounts only

7. Data Protection
For parents: Rodocodo acts as Data Controller.
For schools: Rodocodo acts as Data Processor under the Data Processing Addendum.

8. Liability
Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
For Business Users: liability is capped at 100% of fees paid in the previous 12 months.
For Consumer Users: liability is limited to foreseeable loss and capped at subscription fees paid.
9. Links to Third-Party Websites
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Rodocodo.
We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites. Your use of third-party websites is at your own risk.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
